Jean - the manager on duty - thank you! Thank you for accommodating my family. We planned this dinner for months so when we walked in to be told (at first) we couldn't be accommodated, my kids were devastated. Quite honestly, I was pretty upset too but I understood. As we were about to leave, Jean went ahead and did what she could to not turn us away. I'm so grateful, I don't have words. My family had such a good time after looking forward to this dinner for so long and at the end of the day, that's all that matters. Gabbi was a great server. Very attentive and kind and made our meal that much more enjoyable. Thank you! Service is phenomenal, food was fresh and tasty. We look forward to eating here again.
Great experience awesome selections
Excellent ??
Awesome... it's much like the sushi-go-round places in Japan!
A different wonderful kind of experience the great food
Great business concept! The food is more than delicious, it is artistic. The mochi is the best
The food is art. Say no more.
I loved this place. Their inari sushi and kitsune udon were fantastic, the service was quick, and the restaurant was extremely clean. Would highly recommend and I look forward to my next visit.
Great night for my 20yo who wanted to go to a revolving sushi bar for her bday!.....not great sushi unfortunately :(
Bad Service, no response from customer service at all
Awesome place.and the price isint to bad
This is my favorite Sushi place in Austin. I love just popping in and having a quick bite to eat. The service is good and food is always consistent. It also looks much more clean since the remodel. I would recommend ?
Not as good as the Los Angeles location, but what it lacks in quality it makes up for in space and dining availability. Overpriced in my opinion, but worth it for the quick sushi fix.
I enjoyed the experience of ordering using the revolving /conveyor belt. It was different. It was nice to be able to try different kinds of foods. Too bad they don't have the grilled salmon cheek on their menu anymore.
Best bang for the buck!!! The tonkatsu is amazing!!!
OMG! THIS PLACE IS HEAVEN ON EARTH!!! I DON'T KNOW HOW MUCH MORE I CAN SAY WITHOUT THIS DEVOLVING INTO A LUDICROUSLY LAVISH DISPLAY OF MY LOVE OF THIS ESTABLISHMENT... OH WAIT!!! 10/10 GO GIVE THEM SOME LOVE AND PLEASE BUILD A LOCATION IN SAN ANTONIO!!!
Food tasted great and staff was attentive to clearing table and refilling drinks
It was awesome but the toy thing was out
Small portions. Burnt miso soup
Amazing! I love their waitlist system! Its definetly on the pricier side but this is definetly going to be a date night location! Mix of people dressed nicely and people just casual so dress as you wish! Amazing food, I wish there were more American options haha but still very traditional which makes it that much more amazing, by american/standardized I mean California rolls. My top recommendation is absolutely the chicken dumplings-omg amazing! My not so favorite- the miso soup, I didnt eat it after I tried it, just wasn't for me. I'm really into miso ramen but that was not the same thing haha, no idea what it was lol. It definetly helped me branch out so every time I go there I'm trying something that would seem scary to me! Like octopus haha.
Good food at a reasonable price.
I love this place too much, especially when they finally roll out the rewards system. The sushi plates were cheap, but the cost of it can add up very quickly. Food is good, but the karaage here was soggy, not crispy at all. The only main problem I have here is about using the $5 off coupons from the email and app. First time around when using the coupons, it STATED on the fine print of the limit of 2 coupons per visit. My server the didn't understand about using 2 coupons, had to talk to the manager and came back saying I can only use one, even after showing them their own fine print. Later on they said it's fine to use two... Which was great that night. Now later on, when trying to use the 2 coupons I earned, they wouldn't it anymore, only 1 coupon was allowed. The fine print still states a limit of 2 coupons. I called them out about how they let me use 2 coupons the last time and they told me one was a holiday coupon and the other was one that I earned... Which was a lie because it sent me an email that I have EARNED 2 coupons based on how much I spend here. Either change your fine print or actually accept 2 coupons at the same time.
Great flavor but they need some quality rice that doesn't fall apart when picked up with chopsticks.
This old red neck was amazed and it made my wife happy and full ?
Bad takeout experience with customers crammed into a few sqft while a huge waiting area is closed off "to allow for social distancing", which is just bizarre. Staff don't really care. Fish felt of really questionable freshness overall and the nigiris were assembled carelessly. The sushi rice tasted stale. The place seems pretty cool to dine in but 10 months into the pandemic the whole takeout thing shouldn't feel as improvised as this. Also there should be a way higher bar for a sushi place located between 99 ranch, kinokuniya and daiso.
Straight fire on a food delivery train .
First time experiencing anything like this and I loved it. Food was good the ascetic was great. Everything came out fast the staff was nice and answered all my questions about the conveyor an most importantly the prizes and how to win one! Great for a date with your SO.
Good food and fun experience!
The best sushi this side of the Pacific. The revolving sushi bar is fun to watch go by, but it's even more fun to order off of the tablet and have the food fast tracked straight to you! After 15 plates you win a silly japanese prize! But it's so uniquely japanese and quirky that it makes it worth it. The toro is sublime! And real wasabi!!
A must do experience as well as delicious!
No Wasabi, No Soy sauce in Sushi restaurant?? How?
Sushi done right! It has an authentic Japanese styled sushi haus feel. There is a conveyer belt that loops around the establishment. This is what you will be choosing your food from. Theres a top and a bottom conveyer belt. The bottom is constantly revolving around the restaurant itself with freshly made sushi, and the top is more for things that are ordered. Needless to say it is such a great part of the restaurant! So you get charged by the plate. Typically each plate can be around $2-$3. At the end of the booth where we were sitting there was a slot where you would slide the finished plates into. The sushi was extremely fresh and great tasting. My hats off to the whole team inside. You guys did a great job and the food was great!
We come here for our boys' birthday celebrations. They LOVE how they can pick sushi off the conveyer belt or order off the menu. It's almost a game to see how many plates we finish. The selection is great and price is fair. You are really paying for the experience. Wish we had Kura in San Antonio!
Love this place, and always get full.
Don't sit down the belt, otherwise you'll be waiting longer than you want for a plate from the conveyor...
EXCELLENT sushi and a SUPER fun way to get it! The revolving sushi bar here is very well set up, the sushi is very fresh, we didn't have to wait terribly long (about :15 minute wait at 3pm on a Saturday). Great staff all around.
Beyond the novelty... The food choices were excellent and authentically prepared. Everything was fresh.
Love this place! Delicious and fun
Awesome concept. The staffv were very helpful. The food was fresh. Nice and clean too. Great location. Great parking.
COVID-19 procedures in this place are absolutely on point. Plastic dividers have been added between booths, and also in the middle of the conveyer belt. Prices have increased by bit (less than a dollar in most cases), presumably to cover COVID-19 operation costs. Still worth the trip, time, and money
Excellent food and service
This place never disappoints, always clean and friendly. Some of the best sushi I have ever had.
Pretty good place to have decent sushi and ramen
Really good sushi - always consistent. I love their monthly new items, and you have to try their ramen (can't beat it for the price). Fun desserts but their sushi is worth the trip. And the ramen is only like $6 and SO GOOD
Probably the best restaurant I've ever been into. Just walking in, the layout was inviting. The light was bright and nice, very spacious, clean air, and the seats and food was pretty amazing. Then if u get 15 plates, u get a free Sonic toy!
It's just always so worth the drive. Experience great. Food great. People great. This is the go to celebration place.
Excellent service, attentive staff & fresh food. The Golden Crunchy roll was my favorite! The ramen was solid for the price.
Interesting experience. Fun to watch your food come out on the other belt. Usually fresh. Get the app to get on the wait list.
Service wasn't great and their app is totally broken, food is ok and we ate lots of sushi and didn't get a prize.
Wonderful dining exerience. They have so many different types of food to choose from. The nigiri was amazing and the portion size is not lacking. Cant wait to go back.
